Applications:
Diaphragm seals are used in applications where medias may corrode or clog pressure instruments by themselves. A diaphragm seal is mounted to the pressure instrument to create a corrosive resistant barrier between the instrument and media allowing for accurate readings and longevity.
Plastic diaphragm seals are used in applications where the media may corrode certain metals. They are also a cost effective alternative to expensive metal diaphragm seals that essentially do the same thing.
