Applications:
Thermowells are highly recommended to be used in conjunction with an temperature instrument. Whether it be a bimetal thermometer or RTD, thermowells help protect the temperature instrument from pressure or flow spikes. Thermowells also help to create a barrier between the media and the instrument which allows for removal of the instrument without having to shut down the process.
